These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MyPrivateLedger platform, products, mobile applications, and any related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Services Overview

2.1 Financial Tracking Platform

MyPrivateLedger offers an all-in-one platform that allows digital creators, freelancers, and agencies to link their payment accounts, track income and expenses, send invoices, and generate financial reports.

2.2 No Professional Advice

We provide tools to help you manage your finances. We do not provide tax, legal, investment, or accounting advice. Always consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your personal situation.

2.3 Third-Party Integrations

Our Services may integrate with third-party APIs (e.g., banks, wallets account access) to retrieve or transmit financial data, earnings or withdraws. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of data from such third parties.

2.4 Read-Only Access

MyPrivateLedger only retrieves financial and transactional data via authorized APIs (such as Plaid GoCardless or blockchain explorers). We do not initiate, authorize, or execute any financial transactions on your behalf all displayed material is read only provided by the API's.

3. Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, and to keep that information updated.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and any other credentials used to access your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to or use of your account.

3.3 Multiple Users / Team Access

If you add team members or authorized users to your MyPrivateLedger account, you remain responsible for all activities that occur under your account, including their compliance with these Terms.

4. User Obligations

4.1 Lawful Use

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes. You shall not upload, post, or transmit any content that violates the rights of others, or that is harmful, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

Without limitation, you agree not to:

  • Circumvent or interfere with security-related features of the Services.
  • Access or use the Services through unauthorized means (e.g., automated scripts, bots).
  • Use our platform to launder money, engage in fraud, or violate applicable financial regulations.
  • Attempt to modify or reverse engineer any part of the software.

5. Fees and Payments

5.1 Subscription Fees

We may charge subscription or usage fees for certain features. All fees are described on our pricing page or at the point of purchase. By subscribing, you agree to pay these fees.

6.3 Invoicing Information

If you use our invoicing features, you may input customer names, addresses, and contact details. This data is stored solely for the purpose of generating invoices and is not used for identity verification.

7. Data Privacy & Security

7.1 Privacy Policy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your data.

7.2 Data Sharing

To provide certain features (e.g., bank integrations, automated invoicing), we may share your data with trusted third-party service providers. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

We employ encryption and secure protocols to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. You acknowledge that you provide your information at your own risk.

8. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

8.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. MyPrivateLedger disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Services, including without limitation any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyPrivateLedger shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services. In no event shall MyPrivateLedger's cumulative liability exceed the total amount you have paid to MyPrivateLedger in the six months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

MyPrivateLedger is not an accounting, tax, or financial advisory firm simply for visual insights. You should consult professional advisors for specific guidance on tax or financial matters.

9. Termination

9.1 User Termination

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings. Upon termination, you will lose access to the Services.

9.2 MyPrivateLedger Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect any violation of these Terms or if required by law or regulatory authorities.

9.3 Survival

Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., limitation of liability, disclaimers, intellectual property) shall remain in effect.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United States of America without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

10.2 Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of The United States of America and judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. You agree to waive the right to a trial by jury.
